Hi! I’m Kari!
When I was younger I always knew I wanted to be in business. It never crossed my mind that as a woman it would be difficult to do. I believe we are all capable of greatness and every challenge is making us stronger for the beautiful things life brings us.
I graduated from college with high honors and a degree in business. I worked full-time throughout going to school at a brokerage firm. After college, I focused on building my brand in the industry and grew my book of business to be the largest in the firm. At 26, I was named the third top insurance producer in the country. This award was not limited to age or gender. It was a great accomplishment and landed me the Vice Presidency position.
A few years later I stepped into a mentorship role at the firm and recognized how much I loved helping others with finding their passions and growing their careers. This is what sparked my interest in starting an online journal where I could share my story with other women who are working to find joy in their life and career.
Currently, I am going to graduate school for my Master in Business Administration as well as studying for a designation in the insurance industry.
Recently I was named President of the same brokerage firm at the age of 31. I look back at the sacrifices I made, the intentional hard work I dedicated that all paid off to help me reach my dream job. I feel inspired and motivated to share my story to support other women in landing whatever dream job and dream life they are working towards! It is possible.
